GENERAL RULES
In order to function well, Saddle Up members must follow some simple rules.
Every member must only have one (1) account, multiple accounts are prohibited. Any discovery of any member using more than one account, will result in the member in question being banned.
All members should have a proper person name such as Stacy, Clare, Pamela No user names such as horseforreal324 or Greenwood will be allowed.
All members must treat each other with respect, and any foul language such as swearing or talking about pornographic events will result in the member in question being banned from the game. Please treat others how you would like to be treated.
Members must be 14 years old or over to play Saddle Up!
Any discovery of chain mails will result in a warning, and after two (2) warnings, the member starting it will be banned.
If you want to leave us for any reason, please let us know on the forum as well as a pm or email to an admin to let us know.
All members must have up-to-date records on the forum and if they chose they can also keep records using Excel. Word etc.
All members are required to check the forums at least once a week (unless they have posted that they are away). If a member is unable to keep up with the forums they should contact one of the Administrators and explain their situation.
Failure to log in for four (4) weeks without contacting a Administrator, will result you being deleted from the game and your horses will be sent to Saddle Up Adoption Centre (SUAC) unless you have posted on the forum in the absences sub forum.
If you have any questions or you are unsure about anything please ask. Either on the forum (In the help section) or PM (Private Message) a Admin or Moderator. It doesn't matter how silly you think your question is, we would rather you ask than be unsure about anything. Please remember the Admins & Moderators are here to help.
If you are having trouble with a member of SU please either resolve it between yourselves by PM (Private Message) or contact an Admin or Moderator and we will try to help you resolve it. We will NOT tolerate bullying, harassment etc of any sort
Above all else HAVE FUN!
The age of a horse in SU are recorded as 'Year Of Birth' (e.g: 2009) this is so that it is easier to keep a track on the horses ages than having to go through and change them when the time comes to age the horses.
As in real life most horses rarely make it past 30 years old, So in SU we have decided that no horse will live past 30 years old, once your horse is 25 years old they will be entered into the 'wheel of life' randomiser. All 25+ horses are entered into the randomiser each month. Then we draw two horse ID's at random and whichever the horse ID belongs too that's the horses which will sadly decease. Horse owners will then be notified by PM of there Loss.
Members are free to add there deceased horses to the 'SU Garden of Remembrance' or members may choose a alternative way of remembering there horses. If your horse manages to live to 30 years old your horse will automatically decease upon turning 30yo and you will be notified by PM.
SPEED-AGING
Horses can be speed aged up to 5 years old as long as they have no foals,
After age 5 they will follow the correct time line
TIME LINE
1 Real Year = 1 Sim Year
All horses age on the 1st January each real year
NAME CHANGES
Members are allowed to change there horses names so long as the horse has no foals.
To request a Horse name change please PM me (Lisa Marie) with the following information.
Please do a name check in the horse registry to make sure that your chosen name is not already taken.

BREEDING
The Saddle Up! Breeding season runs from February 1st until June 30th each year.
There is no waiting time for your foal to be born, But your mare must not show or race for 2 weeks from the time that you breed the horses.
Horses are not allowed to breed until they are 4 years old.
A mare can only have one (1) foal a year.
A Stallion can Sire a maximum of ten (10) foals a year
Twins are not allowed.
Race horses can not be bred until after they have retired.
Horses that are 25 years and older are not allowed to be bred.
To breed a horse, post on the forum to have your foal created in the database.
Foals have to be registered, otherwise they do not exist, as with any horse in the game.
SHOWING AGES
In-Hand - Weanling+
Under Saddle - 3 Years old+
Retire From showing at 20 Years Old
RACING AGES
Racing Prospect (In-Hand) - Weanling+
Races - 2 Years old+
Retire From Racing at 12 Years Old
Once retired, race horses may be retrained to compete in showing
If you retire your racehorse early i.e: before the official retirement time, you will not be able to enter your horse in racing again
Member levels are split up into five. Topaz, Emerald, Ruby, Pearl and Diamond. All new members will be known as a Topaz member, As you continue to be active on the forum you will be allocated a new member level by the SU admin. Each level has different privileges in the game as outlined below:
TOPAZ MEMBER
Starting Balance = $200,000
Monthly Allowance = $4,000
Create Horse Limit = 2
Can only own no more than 10 horses
Can adopt horses from the Saddle Up Adoption Centre (SUAC) or buy horses from other members.
Can not breed there horses
Can not open there own stable (Must be boarded with a approved stable)
Can not open there own business, registry or association
Can not host there own races or shows
Can be promoted to Emerald Level by showing they are active after 1 month [4 Weeks]
Topaz Members are required to set up a website to keep all there records, this site will later be your stable.
EMERALD MEMBER
Cash Bonus = $5,000
Monthly Allowance = $8,000
Create Horse Limit = 3
Can only own no more than 20 horses
Can breed there horses
Can open there own stable (Private)
Can open there own business, registry or association
Can host there own races or shows
Member must host at least 1 show event or race meeting every 2 weeks, if they own associations or registries
Can be promoted to Ruby Level by showing they are active after 1 month [4 Weeks]
Emerald members also receive the following standard facilities for your stable:
15 Acres of Land
Small Stable Building (10 Horses)
(10) 14 x 14 Stalls
1 Office
1 Feed Room (10 horses)
1 Tack Room (10 horses)
RUBY MEMBER
Cash Bonus = $10,000
Monthly Allowance = $12,000
Create Horse Limit = 4
Can only own no more than 30 horses
can breed there own horses and change there horses name
Can open there own stable (Private or Public)
Can open a business, registry or association
Can host there own races or shows
Member must host at least 1 show event or race meeting every 2 weeks if they own associations or registries
Can be promoted to Pearl Level by showing they are active after 1 month [4 Weeks)
PEARL MEMBER
Cash Bonus = $20,000
Monthly Allowance = $16,000
Create Horse Limit = 5
Can only own no more than 40 horses
Can breed there horses and change there horses name
Can open there own stable (Private or Public)
Can open there own business, registry or association
Can host there own races or shows
Member must host at least 1 show event or race meeting every 2 weeks if they own associations or registries
Can be promoted to Diamond Level by showing they are active after 2 months [8 Weeks]
DIAMOND MEMBER
Cash Bonus = $30,000
Monthly Allowance = $20,000
Create Horse Limit = Unlimited
Can own unlimited number of horses, but please be realistic don't take on more than you can handle
Can breed there horses and change there horses name
Can open there own stable (Private or public or both)
Can open a business, registry or association
Can host there own races and shows
Member must host at least 1 show event or race meeting every 2 weeks if they own associations or registries
PLEASE NOTE
Monthly Allowances will be added to members bank accounts on the 1st of the month.
They will show in your bank accounts as: SU Monthly Allowance [Member Level]
Once you join Saddle Up! you will receive a PM containing the login details for the Saddle Up! National Bank (semi-automatic) so that you can access your bank account.
Saddle Up! Currency is Sim dollars this means it is not real money. No real life currency is or will be used in SU. Saddle Up is 100% Free to play.
